To celebrate 100th Anniversary of Fatima Apparitions, New 365 Days of Mary app launched

We hope to see more apps like this introduced into the Catholic app world as we prepare to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima in 2017 (May through October). Our Sunday Visitor followed up their popular 365 days of Mercy app (designed for the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy) with 365 Days With Mary . This free Marian app is designed to bring you closer to Jesus through Mary by fostering the habit/practice of daily devotion to her. It is appropriate that this new app is announced today, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception.

365 Days With Mary app was developed as a valuable resource for the 100th anniversary celebration of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima which occurred in 1917. This app comes to you fully loaded with a variety of Marian resources–text, video and audio! You get a rosary guide (English and Spanish); Divine Mercy Chaplet guide; daily Marian reflections; Stations of the Cross reflections (audio option); popular Catholic prayers; Works of Mercy listing;  the Pope’s prayer intentions (video included); information on Our Lady and more. You may set up reminders (phone/tablet alerts) to help you remember to pray daily. Take a test drive of this app here.

A comparable Marian app on the market is the beautiful and popular Mary App [ Apple ]developed by the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. While that free app is similarly loaded with great Marian resources including a very nice virtual rosary to use, it is only available on Apple (iOS) format. We are thrilled 365 Days With Mary app is offered for both Apple and Android.

If you want to get to know your Heavenly Mother and deepen your devotion to her, these fine, free apps are a great addition to your phone or table.

“We never give more honor to Jesus than when we honor his Mother, and we honor her simply and solely to honor him all the more perfectly. We go to her only as a way leading to the goal we seek — Jesus, her Son.” — St. Louis Marie de Montfort
