Watch final Fatima centennial celebrations on Oct 13 on your mobile device

First of all, if you don’t have a clue as to what this post is about, PLEASE check out EWTN’s comprehensive web site devoted to the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima 100 years ago.

October 13 marks the centennial anniversary of the final, most dramatic apparition of Our Lady in which thousands of spectators witnessed an incredible miracle of the sun (pictured).

You can watch the celebrations and devotions LIVE utilizing the EWTN app.

EWTN Radio or TV Live or Video on Demand (free) iOS | Android | Kindle Fire . Check out EWTN’s Program Schedule of strictly Fatima-related programing you can watch live including all the broadcasts from Fatima, Portugal. At this link you will see the time of live and encore presentations (delayed broadcast) of the more significant events. EWTN is ideal for viewing because the network provides excellent commentary to help you follow what’s going on; translates the messages, homilies and speeches into English; and offers useful insight and background information. A variety of specially-produced programs and documentaries centered on Our Lady’s important messages and details of the actual events surrounding those six months in 1917 have provided exceptional viewing.

Official web site of the Sanctuary of Fatima offers live streaming video at this link. Exactly what they will live stream is not clear from their web site other than the fact that they always have a live web cam pointed to the altar in the Chapel of the Apparitions which is on 24/7 as part of their regular offerings throughout the year. You will need to change the language to English in the upper right-hand side of the web page.

Finally…Our Lady asked that we say a rosary every day. Choose from a fine selection of Rosary Apps here!

It’s a serendipitous time in the history of the Church–the 100th anniversary of Our Lady’s visit and the poignancy of her messages for us to heed that would ensure world peace (relevant today!)
