Catholic APPtitude’s world-wide appeal

We want to send out the reminder that many Catholic apps come with a variety of language options which you can change in the settings. So, if you know someone looking for a Catholic app in a language other than English, check the app descriptions carefully. We try to note language options with each app. Also, be sure to note that we have a special Spanish page on Catholic Apptitude listing all our featured apps which are available in that language.

Beyond the world-wide interest noted on our site’s stats page, we are occasionally reminded of Catholic Apptitude’s appeal in far corners of the globe. Radio VeritasSouth Africa’s only Catholic radio station, recently highlighted Catholic Apptitude’s recommended Lent apps on its radio program, Frank-Ly Catholic, hosted by Frank Nunan. That was fun to listen to.

Since Catholic Apptitude is based in the United States (Diocese of Buffalo, NY) and features apps which primarily cater to English-speaking audiences, it isn’t surprising that most visitors to our site are from English-speaking countries. Outside the United States, CatholicApptitude.org’s visitors came from more than 200 countries last year. Here are the top 22 countries listed:

  • Canada
  • United Kingdom
  • Philippines
  • Australia
  • European Union (as listed on may visitor systems)
  • India
  • Nigeria
  • Italy
  • Singapore
  • Ireland
  • South Africa
  • Malaysia
  • Spain
  • Norway
  • Brazil
  • New Zealand
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Mexico
  • Kenya
  • France
  • Germany
