Free Year of Mercy App

365 Days to Mercy  (Free) Apple and Android. Our Sunday Visitor is offering its free Year of Mercy app to help you in your journey through this special jubilee year designated by Pope Francis. The official Year of Mercy is December 8, 2015 to November 20, 2016, but daily inspiration, stories, and news will be in the app beginning November 20, 2015, giving you, as developers note, a full 365 Days to Mercy. The theme for the year, ‘Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful,’ is supported in this app which offers:x

The app draws on the reliable Catholic resources from Our Sunday Visitor including:

  • Daily reflections written specifically for the Year of Mercy
  • Year-long coverage of Year of Mercy events from OSV News
  • Excerpts from official catechetical resources
  • Excerpts from OSV books and products

How will this app help you? As developers note, “Mercy lies at the very heart of the Christian message. Pope Francis envisions a year in which we will become more merciful in our own lives and share God’s mercy with others.” The resources in this app put valuable prayers, Catholic teaching, Scripture and meditations at your fingertips to assist you in growing in your understanding of the Father’s mercy, accepting His mercy and giving mercy.
